These are very small keepsake boxes popular throughout the world as prayer charms or tiny keepsakes. They are all hinged boxes that have a surprisingly secure hinge to secure the box closed. All are individually hand made from .925 sterling silver using a lost wax molding process. They are then cleaned, fitted with the hinge and latch and then polished. Each is has its own character as small imperfections are expected and add to the hand made creative feel to these lovely tiny charms. All are made by Bali artisans. These are not a waterproof item, much the same as lockets. We fill them half way with ash or soil and top it off with clear silicon adhesive. Silicon adhesive cleans up very well with isopropyl or denatured alcohol. Adhesed cremains are also acceptable - this is where a drop or two of white glue is dusted with ash and then stirred.
