INSTRUCTIONS FOR OUR CREMATION JEWELRY:
INSTRUCTIONS FOR URN JEWELRY
INSTRUCTIONS FOR URN JEWELRY Ashes are relatively simple to load. We include everything you need to facilitate the filling process including a special funnel made of teflon plastic sheet (regular funnels do not work). Ashes are mostly salt and other minerals. If they are too coarse put a tablespoon in a plastic bag and then shake it a bit - the finer particles will fall to the bottom - pour the large granules back in the urn and use the finer to load the jewelry item. Also important is that you need only add a pinch of cremains - they should not be filled completely or the screw will not thread in all the way.
Pendant
Fill
Work
on a large flat surface covered with wax paper or similar.
Use the clothespin to hold the pendant upright in a loading position. To
load, use the provided funnel the enclosed stick.
Twist the stick while pushing in the funnel to allow the finer ashen
material to fill the pendant. If the
screw is a loose fit or you are concerned about it falling out you may secure
with a small amount of white glue or silicon adhesive on the threads. (Don’t
use superglue!) For the priere pendants use a q-tip to coat the inside of the lid
with an adhesive. Threaded ports with small screw access
The screw fill port is removed and a pinch of cremains are added to the
funnel and stirred with a stick to allow the smaller particles to load into the
port. Fill only half way to allow room for the screw. The screw itself is quite secure but you can dip the thread
in a dab of white glue before screwing it in for added security. PLEASE BE CAREFUL NOT TO SCREW IN TOO FAR AS IT SHOULD BE
FLUSH WITH THE SURFACE.
It does not have a stop so it will fall all the way in if screwed too
far. The screw is backed out a bit
to facilitate loading – it should only be flush when finally closed.
Please remove the screw on a white towel on a large flat surface so that
if falls it does not bounce or roll and get lost.
REPLACEMENT SCREWS ARE
$10.00 SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL! Locket
Fill
A
drop of white glue is placed on an inner panel and a small pinch of soil,
cremains or lock of hair is then placed on the drop.
Stir with a small stick, to mix and let dry.
A small photo or some fur may be placed on top of the glue or on the
opposite side. Charm
Fill A
drop of white glue is placed in the charm box and a small pinch of ash is put on
top. Wait 2 minutes and then invert the charm to remove the excess into the your
original urn. Let dry overnight. Thank you for purchasing a
quality Ashes to Ashes jewelry keepsake. Returns
and exchanges are welcomed - as it should be. ALWAYS RETAIN A SMALL AMOUNT OF ASH IN CASE OF
LOSS!
PLEASE NOTE: The Petite red jewel pendants
have a delicate lid that glides into a seal track – please be careful when
opening and make sure the lid is tucked into the groove before twisting to
close. *
