To pet owners the death of their beloved dog or cat is a very sad occasion indeed. However, along with such misfortune usually comes the inevitable choice of the way to deal with the pet's body.

Out of special feelings toward the pets, most pet owners hope to deal with the dead bodies of their pets in a proper way. When convenience as well as environmental protection are considered, cremation might the best choice.

An inquiry at a pet shop or pet hospital about quotations for animal funeral services, however, will reveal startlingly high prices.

Take a Labrador dog for example. In a pet hospital in Changning District in Shanghai, a collective cremation costs 200 yuan (US$24.8) for each while an individual cremation costs 500 yuan. If pet owners wish to take the ashes of their dog home, they'll have to either bring their own urn or buy one in the hospital at a cost of about three to four hundred yuan.

In fact, according to a report by "Travel Times," the cost for the individual cremation of a pet should be less than 100 yuan.

At a time when pets are affecting our lives to such a great extent and pet ownership is no longer a luxury just for rich people animal funeral services should be more affordable. 2/20/06: New Mausoleum line added!

1/20/06: Lots of new products added such as the pet loss package and small animal caskets.  We have had a lot of requests for customization so laser engraved marble plaques in our wood oak urns are a big hit!.  Ceramics backordered due to a winter injury to our ceramics artisan.

12/15/05: Tamarisk scrapped as is warping.  New mausoleum in design phase initiated.

11/14/05:  Wood supplier issues resolved with new vendor.  Tamarisk good quality, oak and cedar back in production.  2005 has seen our first two backorder periods of over 21 days.  We are making major changes to prevent this in the future.

10/31/05: Oak and cedar very difficult to get due to hurricane Katrina and raw materials going to China...  we are able to obtain intermittent supply.  If its not one thing its another...  We are experiencing random backorders .

9/30/05: Our new look! We changed stuff around today and added some new items, 9/30/05

9/10/05:    As of 9/05 we are back in business making our famous wood pet urns.  Thank you all for your patience!  Our new facility has an updated automatic sprinkler system to prevent this from ever happening again.  Our backorders will take several weeks of hard work to fill but our employees are well rested and ready to go!
